“E” is for Easter

It was early on Easter morning. Alphabet Allie went outside to see the sun rise from the east.

“‘E’ is for early, Easter and east,” said Alphabet Allie.

Alphabet Allie walked to her friend, Ellie’s house.

“Those are beautiful Easter eggs,” said Alphabet Allie, seeing Ellie carrying some hand-painted Easter eggs and setting them on the table. “‘E’ is for eggs.”

“Thank you,” said Ellie. “I enjoy painting them. ‘E’ is for enjoy.”

“I would love to learn how to paint them,” said Allie.

“It is very easy to do,” said Ellie. “‘E’ is for easy. I would be happy to show you how.”

“I would be elated,” said Allie. “‘E’ is for elated.”

Ellie showed Allie how to paint them. Allie was very happy.

“Happy Easter!” exclaimed Allie, waving goodbye to her friend.
