Sugar-Free Easter

It was Easter morning. Easter is Bad Teeth Bradley’s favourite holiday. Bad Teeth Bradley loves Easter chocolate and we all know that Easter Bunny brings chocolate to everyone on Easter.

“Look at all the chocolate I get to eat,” said Bad Teeth Bradley, grinning from ear to ear.

It didn’t take long for Bad Teeth Bradley to eat all of his chocolate. He was so happy eating it but then he immediately felt guilty once it was all gone.

“Oh dear,” said Bad Teeth Bradley. “What have I done? What is going to happen? What is my dentist Dr. Stevens going to say?”

Bad Teeth Bradley felt so bad about eating his chocolate all at once that he decided he would go hide. It wasn’t long before Dr. Stevens remembered that he hadn’t seen Bad Teeth Bradley for awhile. He became concerned about him, especially when he remembered that it was Easter. Dr. Stevens knew what Bad Teeth Bradley had done. He went searching for him but couldn’t find him.

“I wonder where Bad Teeth Bradley is,” said Dr. Stevens. “I can’t find him anywhere.”

Dr. Stevens walked home but then he saw Easter Bunny.

“Have you by any chance seen Bad Teeth Bradley?” asked Dr. Stevens.

“No,” said Easter Bunny. “I haven’t. Is there something wrong? Did he not like the sugar-free chocolate I gave him?”

“Sugar-free,” laughed Dr. Stevens. ”Oh poor Bad Teeth Bradley! I am sure he is hiding because he feels guilty about eating all of his Easter chocolate. He didn’t know it was sugar free.”

“I will find him,” said Easter Bunny.

“Thank you,” said Dr. Stevens. “Since the chocolate he ate was sugar-free, I will be on my way. I have a lot more patients I need to focus on.”

Easter Bunny found Bad Teeth Bradley hiding under his bed.

“You can come out from under your bed,” said Easter Bunny.

“Is Dr. Stevens with you?” asked Bad Teeth Bradley, poking his head out from under his bed.

“No,” said Easter Bunny. “I just talked to him. He said that since you ate sugar-free chocolate, he didn’t need to see you.”

“Sugar-free chocolate!” cried Bad Teeth Bradley. “Are you serious?”

“I figured you didn’t need all that sugar,” said Easter Bunny.

“I definitely didn’t,” said Bad Teeth Bradley. “I thought I ate all that sugar in the chocolate and I felt so guilty about it.”

“You have nothing to feel guilty about” said Easter Bunny. “You have done nothing wrong.”

“Thank you,” said Bad Teeth Bradley.

“The good thing is that you can now eat chocolate without all that sugar,” said Easter Bunny.

“Yes,” said Bad Teeth Bradley. “You are right. Dr. Stevens will love this!”

“So will your teeth,” laughed Easter Bunny.
