Hillbilly Bob is Thankful for his Parents

Hillbilly Bob walked out into the kitchen on Thanksgiving morning. The kitchen smelled so good. Both his parents were working on stuffing the turkey for Thanksgiving dinner.

“Do you need some help?” asked Hillbilly Bob.

“No son,” said Mother. “I think we have this under control.”

“Are you sure?” asked Hillbilly Bob, laughing as he watched his father try to put the turkey in the roasting pan upside down.

“Oh dear!” exclaimed Mother, taking the turkey from father and putting it upright in the pan.

“You two are so cute together,” said Hillbilly Bob.” You know something. I am so thankful to have you two as parents.”

“We are the ones that are thankful,” said Mother.

“Absolutely,” said Father.” We are very thankful to have such a wonderful son.”

“Happy Thanksgiving,” said Hillbilly Bob, giving his parents a big hug.
