Billy Troll – Character Insight
Billy Troll is a rock-loving character with a heart of gold. He used to play country music, but now he’s all about rock and roll. Billy is married to his good friend and neighbor, Dianne, and they have two young children. When he’s not rocking out, Billy visits sick or terminally ill children at the local hospital. He’s kind and loving, unlike his rivals, The Jagged Trolls. Mic from the band, The Jagged Trolls, loves to tease Billy. Mic knows Billy is talented and is secretly jealous of him.
Billy’s wife, Dianne, is not only his life partner but also his manager and promoter. She schedules his concerts and keeps him organized. Sometimes, Billy finds out about a concert just moments before he’s supposed to perform! Dianne is named after an editor from a local newspaper.
The Jagged Trolls are like the Rolling Stones of the troll world. Their lead singer, Mic, is named after Mick Jagger. They always manage to get under Billy’s skin. But Billy’s not alone in the music scene. His niece, Suzie Troll, leads an all-girls rock band called Just Girlz.
