Jayden Bakes an Apple Pie

Jayden went over to the cupboard in the kitchen and opened it up. She could smell cinnamon and nutmeg, her two favourite SPICES. The smell of them reminded her of APPLE pie. She loved apple pie and just had to have some.

Jayden walked down the HALLWAY and went out to her BACKYARD. She wanted to see if the apples on the apple tree were ripe. She walked over to them and checked.

The apples were ripe so she picked some of them and was on her way back to the house. On her way back to the house, she stopped to look at her flower garden. She happened to notice that some of the FLOWERS she was growing in it had started to bloom. Jayden picked some and took them into the house.

Once inside the house, Jayden put the fresh flowers in a vase and she cut up the apples for the apple pie. Pretty soon the whole house smelled of the fresh flowers and the apple pie that she just put in the oven. It smelled wonderful and it made Jayden very happy.
