Christmas
Old St. Nick is coming
For it is Christmas Eve
All the children are sleeping
At least I do believe
The children have hung their stockings
And are all tucked in bed
They are waiting very patiently
For the man all dressed in red
For come tomorrow morning
There will be gifts under the tree
I really, really wonder
If he’ll leave anything to me
In bed I was sleeping
Until I heard hoof thumps on my roof
There really is a Santa
For now I have my proof
Dressed in my nightgown
I snuck down the cold stairs
I saw a huge parcel
Now, I know that Santa cares
I prayed for a new computer
So many months ago
That’s what Santa brought me
On his travels through the snow
