Candy Wrapper
It was Earth Day. Bad Teeth Bradley was walking through a park close to his home. While he was walking, he would take a piece of candy out of his pocket. He would unwrap it, put the candy in his mouth and drop the wrapper on the ground. He soon had a long trail of candy wrappers throughout the park.
Environment Bug was walking through the very same park, at the very same time, Bad Teeth Bradley was at. He saw what Bad Teeth Bradley was doing. He didn’t like it, one bit.
“Bad Teeth Bradley,” Environment Bug called out, once he had caught up to him. “What are you doing?”
“I’m out enjoying Earth Day,” said Bad Teeth Bradley, dropping another candy wrapper on the ground.
“It looks like you are enjoying Earth Day just a little too much,” said Environment Bug, picking up the wrapper Bad Teeth Bradley just dropped.
“Oh,” said Bad Teeth Bradley. “I am so sorry.”
“You have a whole trail of them throughout the park,” said Environment Bug.
“I will go pick them up,” said Bad Teeth Bradley. “I honestly don’t know what got into me. I’m not normally like this. You must think I am terrible and especially today of all days.”
“I have to admit that I wasn’t very happy at first,” said Environment Bug. “However, you did say you would clean them up and you do seem like you are genuinely sorry.”
“I am,” said Bad Teeth Bradley, retracing his steps and picking up his discarded candy wrappers.
“Thank you,” said Environment Bag, watching Bad Teeth Bradley throw the candy wrappers in a trash bin.
“Wait!” Bad Teeth Bradley and Environment Bug both heard Dr. Stevens, Bad Teeth Bradley’s dentist say, with a candy wrapper in his hand. “You missed one. Come with me, Bad Teeth Bradley. I need to check your teeth.”
“Oh oh,” said Bad Teeth Bradley, following Dr. Stevens. “I think I am in trouble now.”
