A Beautiful Spring Day

“It is such a beautiful spring day,” said Beatrice Bee, flying around Storyland. “The sun is shining, there are no clouds in the sky and all the flowers are blooming.”

Beatrice Bee was in her glory and she could not figure out how anyone could be in a bad mood on such a beautiful spring day.

“There is Angry Baker,” said Beatrice, spotting Angry Baker at the back of his bake shop. “I must go say hello to him.”

Beatrice Bee flew over to where Angry Baker was standing. She was surprised to see that he had an angry look on his face.

“Why are you so angry?” asked Beatrice Bee. “It is such a beautiful day today. It is finally spring and the flowers are even blooming.”

“You are annoying me,” snapped Angry Baker. “In fact, everyone and everything is annoying me today.”

“Follow me,” said Beatrice Bee.

Angry Baker didn’t want to but he knew Beatrice Bee wouldn’t leave him alone so he followed her. Beatrice Bee took Angry Baker to the end of the street and then stopped.

“Take a good look around,” said Beatrice Bee.

Angry Baker did what Beatrice said for him to do and he did have to admit that it was a beautiful spring day. The sun was shining and the flowers were beautiful.

“Thank you,” said Angry Baker, smiling. “I really did need that.”
