Mr. Egghead – Christmas Story

“I am going to have so much fun this Christmas,” said Mr. Egghead, walking up to the Christmas Building.

“It is nice to have you here,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “I am having a problem with Christmas this year. I feel Christmas is lost to me. I have gifts for all the residents in the Christmas Building but I don’t feel right handing them out. I feel that some of the Storyland characters don’t know the meaning of Christmas and have not done any good deeds this past year. What does Christmas mean to you and what good deed have you done?”

“Christmas, to me, is all about socializing with the professors at the university and getting to know them better,” said Mr. Egghead. “I don’t have a family because I was created in the laboratory. The university is my home and the professors are my family. As for a good deed, I often double check Professor Edelamn’s work after everyone has gone home for the night. I did find a couple of critical errors so, I corrected them for him. He doesn’t know I did that and I  don’t want him to know. I just want to help him as much as I can. After all, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him. He is the one that created me.”

“That is such a good thing that you have been doing,” said Lost Christmas Tree, handing Mr. Egghead his Christmas gift.

“Thank you,” said Mr. Egghead. “Merry Christmas!”

“Merry Christmas to you,” said Lost Christmas Tree.
