Happy Heart, Happy Heart

Billy Troll was working on his new album in his studio when he saw his wife, Dianne playing with their children through the studio window. He smiled and then went back to work.

A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door. Billy set his guitar down and answered the door. He was surprised to see Happy Heart.

“Hi Happy Heart,” said Billy. “What brings you all the way to Sharbot Lake, Ontario?”

“Today is Valentine’s Day,” said Happy Heart. “I am here to spread love and happiness.”

“Dianne and I have tons of love and happiness,” said Billy.

“But you are here in your studio working on Valentine’s Day,” said Happy Heart.

“I have been working on my new album,” said Billy.

“Oh,” said Happy Heart. “I would love to hear it.”

“Why don’t you come to my Valentine’s Day concert tonight?” asked Billy.

“I would love to,” said Happy Heart.

Billy went onstage at the Valentine’s Day concert. He saw Happy Heart sitting with Dianne in the first row.

“Good evening,” said Billy into the microphone. “We have a special guest in the audience tonight. Everyone, please welcome Happy Heart.”

The crowd cheered.

“We also have a surprise for  Happy Heart,” said Billy, motioning for Dianne to come up on stage with him. “She came to see me today to spread her love and happiness.”

The crowd cheered again. Then they cheered even more when they saw Dianne standing next to Billy.

“Sing,” chanted the crowd. “Billy and Dianne please sing together. We love you!”

“This song is for Happy Heart,” sang Billy and Dianne together. “Happy Heart, Happy Heart! You

are like a strawberry tart, so good, so sweet. A perfect Valentine treat.”

Happy Heart could see the love and happiness between Billy and Dianne when they looked at each other while singing.

“Beautiful song,” said Happy Heart after the concert.

“Thank you,” said Billy.

“I am sorry about earlier,” said Happy Heart. “I saw the love and happiness between you two.”

“Thank you,” said Billy. “Happy Valentine’s Day!”

“Happy Valentine’s Day to you as well,” said Happy Heart.

Moral of this Story:

  • It is not good to assume things.
  • Example: Happy Heart assumed that Billy and Dianne weren’t happy. Then she saw the way they looked at each other while they were singing. She knew they had love and happiness.
