Mr. Iceman and Ice Cubes

Mr. Iceman and Ice Cubes …

“Hi Warren,” said Mr. Iceman to his neighbour. “It sure is cold outside today?”

“It sure is,” said Warren. “I was just going to have a cup of coffee. Would you like one?”

“I’ve never had coffee,” said Mr. Iceman.

“You don’t know what you are missing,” said Warren.

Warren made Mr. Iceman a cup of coffee. Mr. Iceman took a sip and he almost burned his mouth.

“Oh be careful,” said Warren. “It is hot.”

“It is very hot,” said Mr. Iceman. “I like the taste but I can’t have things that are hot.”

“I am sorry,” said Warren. “I should have realized.”

“It isn’t your fault,” said Mr. Iceman.

“You could always put some ice cubes in it,” said Warren. “That would cool it down!”

“That is a good idea,” said Mr. Iceman.

Mr. Iceman made some ice cubes with his feet and put them in his coffee.

“That is much better,” said Mr. Iceman.

“You just made yourself an iced coffee,” said Warren.

“Yes,” said Mr. Iceman. “I did.”

“Nice to have an ice maker for a neighbour,” said Warren.

“I suppose that is a benefit,” laughed Mr. Iceman.

Moral of this Story:
