Snow Fairy Finds Warmth

Finds Warmth …

“This winter has been so cold,” said Snow Fairy to herself as she went outside to collect her mail. “I do hope it warms up soon.”

Snow Fairy is not the type to complain. She is sweet and innocent. However, Snow Fairy was correct, it has been a very cold winter so far.

Snow Fairy went back into her house. She felt a chill. She shivered and no matter what she did, she could not get warm. She was not very happy about the winter weather.

“Oh Rambler,” said Snow Fairy, when her friend, Rambler Rabbit knocked on her door. “It is very cold outside. What are you doing outside today?”

Snow Fairy shivered and she just couldn’t stop. Rambler pointed to a chair in the living room.

“You sit here,” said Rambler. “I will help you warm up.”

Rambler saw a blanket hanging over the back of the sofa. He wrapped the blanket around Snow Fairy. He then built a fire for her in her fireplace. Soon, Snow Fairy stopped shivering.

“Thank you,” said Snow Fairy. “I feel so much better.”

“Good to hear,” said Rambler.

“You never did tell me why you are here,” said Snow Fairy.

“Well,” said Rambler. “I ran out of firewood and wanted to know if you had any extra.”

“I don’t,” said Snow Fairy. “I have used a lot this writer already. “However, stay here with me. That way we can both stay warm.”

“That is a wonderful idea,” said Rambler. “That way I can make sure you are taken care of.”

The cold weather continued for another week. Snow Fairy was very grateful that Rambler was there to help her. Rambler was very grateful he was able to stay warm.
