“S” is for Springtime

It was a sunny spring day and Alphabet Allie was visiting with her Aunt Sue.

“‘S’ is for sunny and spring,” said Alphabet Allie. “I am happy it is springtime. ‘S’ is for springtime.”

“Spring is a very special season,” said Aunt Sue. “‘S’ is for special and also for season.”

“I think I need a new pair of shoes for spring,” said Alphabet Allie. “‘S’ is for shoes.”

“Maybe a pair of sandals would be nice,” said Aunt Sue. “‘S’ is for sandals.”

“I like that idea,” said Alphabet Allie. “Let’s go shopping! ‘S’ is for shopping.”

“It is Saturday and that is a super day to go shopping,” said Aunt Sue. “‘S’ is for Saturday and also for super.”

“What style of shoe should I get?” asked Alphabet Allie. “‘S’ is for style and should.”

“I will pick a nice style for you,” said Aunt Sue. “You will be surprised when you see them. ‘S’ is for surprised and also for see.”

Aunt Sue and Alphabet Allie had a lot of fun shopping for sandals. Aunt Sue liked the style she picked for Alphabet Allie. She bought a pair for herself.

“‘S’ is for she,” said Alphabet Allie. “Thank you for taking me shopping. I had a great time.”

“I did as well,” said Aunt Sue.

Alphabet Allie was very happy about spending quality time with Aunt Sue.

“‘S’ is for spending,” said Alphabet Allie, giving Aunt Sue a big hug.

“We will have to go shopping again, very soon,” said Aunt Sue. “‘S’ is for soon.”

“Yes,” said Alphabet Allie. “I would really like that.”

“Me too,” said Aunt Sue.
