“S” is for Springtime

It was a sunny spring day and Alphabet Allie was visiting with her Aunt Sue.

“‘S’ is for sunny and spring,” said Alphabet Allie. “I am happy it is springtime.”

“‘S’ is for springtime,” said Aunt Sue. “Spring is a very special season.”

“‘S’ is for special and also for season,” said Alphabet Allie. “I think I need a new pair of shoes for spring.”

“‘S’ is for shoes,” said Aunt Sue. “Maybe a pair of sandals would be nice.”

“‘S’ is for sandals,” said Alphabet Allie. “I like that idea. Let’s go shopping.”

“‘S’ is for shopping,” said Aunt Sue. “It is Saturday and that is a super day to go shopping.”

“‘S’ is for Saturday and also for super,” said Alphabet Allie. “I will let you choose the style.”

“‘S’ is for style,” said Aunt Sue. “I will pick a nice style for you. You will be surprised when you see them.”

“‘S’ is for surprised and also for see,” said Alphabet Allie.

Aunt Sue and Alphabet Allie had a lot of fun shopping for sandals. Aunt Sue liked the style she picked for Alphabet Allie. She bought a pair for herself.

“Thank you for taking me shopping,” said Alphabet Allie. “I had a great time.”

“I did as well,” said Aunt Sue.

Alphabet Allie was very happy about spending quality time with Aunt Sue.

“‘S’ is for spending,” said Alphabet Allie, giving Aunt Sue a big hug.

“We will have to go shopping again,” said Aunt Sue.

“Yes,” said Alphabet Allie. “I would really like that.”

“Me too,” said Aunt Sue.
