Ice Bird – Character Insight
I created Ice Bird for my Winter Story Challenge 2019-2020. I wanted to create something beautiful and something inviting.
In the chilly land of Canada, where the winter can be very cold, there’s a special bird named Ice Bird. He’s not like any other bird; he’s unique and he knows it!
Ice Bird has a beautiful icy blue color and his head feathers look like sparkling icicles. He lives in Perth, Ontario, and you’ll only see him when it’s winter.
Some people find winter too cold and long, and they wish for spring to come soon. But not Ice Bird! He loves everything about winter. He enjoys the snow and the fun activities like skating, skiing, and snowboarding.
Sometimes, Ice Bird teases the animals who don’t like the cold, saying, “Spring is still far away!” But he always feels a little sorry afterward and says sorry to his friends.
Even though Ice Bird can be a bit of a trickster in the forest, he can also be very kind. He reminds everyone that winter can be a time of joy and and a time to play.
