Finley the Forklift Driver – Character Insight

I created Finley the Forklift Driver as part of my Canadian Trades/Professions Character Challenge. Forklift drivers are very important to Canada’s manufacturing sector.

Finley, the friendly forklift driver, helps move boxes and supplies from big trucks into a special place called a warehouse. He stacks them up neatly, like building blocks, so they can be used to make things or sent to people who need them.

Finley knows that driving his forklift is a big job. He wears his safety hat and follows all the rules to make sure he and his friends stay safe. He’s taken many classes to learn about forklift safety because he cares about everyone at work.

Finley loves his job because he’s good at it and it helps him earn money for fun toys and yummy treats. He’s proud to be a forklift driver because it’s important work, and he’s very good at being careful and reliable.

So, if you ever see a forklift, remember Finley and how he works hard and stays safe every day!
