Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve the angels sing
About joy and happiness to all
They sing to you and they sing to me
With their sweet, pure voices they call
On Christmas Eve the church bells ring
About prosperity and hope for everyone
They ring loud and they ring clear
Hoping your days are full of love and fun
On Christmas Eve the stockings are hung
So prim and proper around the fireplace
The children are now asleep in their beds
Dreaming of trains and trucks and frilly lace
On Christmas Eve a jolly man comes
Down your chimney and across your hall
Ho! Ho! Ho! he calls loud and clear
”Merry Christmas, happiness and joy to all!”
