Happy and Refreshed

“I love spring so much,” said Mrs. Tulip, walking through her garden.

Mrs. Tulip is a real live tulip that comes alive each spring. She walks around her garden with a refreshing air of confidence. She speaks to everyone she meets with a refreshing aura.

“It is so refreshing to see you walking around the garden,” said Mrs. Daisy. “You are always so happy and refreshed. I don’t know how you do it.”

“I just don’t let things bother me,” said Mrs. Tulip. “I know that can be easier said than done, especially with the coryvirus pandemic happening in Storyland right now. It is depressing to think about. We are flowers and flowers can’t catch the virus so we really don’t have anything to worry about.”

“That is a good point,” said Mrs. Daisy.

“You do know that we can help bring some happiness to those Storyland characters affected by this virus,” said Mrs. Tulip. “All we have to do is show up and look and smell our pretty selves.”

“You are right,” said Mrs. Daisy. “Just look at the smiles we bring to Storyland characters when they do see us and smell us.”

“We are a breath of fresh air,” said Mrs. Tulip.

Mrs. Tulip and Mrs. Daisy continued talking and they both thought they could spread some refreshing happiness by visiting some Storyland characters that were hit with the coryvirus.

“You know,” said Mrs. Daisy after one such visit. “That did feel good and it was nice to see the smiles on the faces of those characters we visited.”

“It absolutely was,” said Mrs. Tulip. “We should do that more often.”

“Agreed,” said Mrs. Daisy.
