Pirate Pete – Christmas Story
“Pirate Pete,” said Lost Christmas Tree, when Pirate Pete showed up at the Christmas Building, where he was going to spend the Christmas holidays. “I hope you had a safe, voyage to the Christmas Building.”
“Yes,” said Pirate Pete. “It was a nice voyage. I am happy to be spending Christmas here.”
“Now,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “I am having a bit of an issue this Christmas.”
“I am sorry to hear that,” said Pirate Pete “Is there anything I can do to help? . am just a pirate so, I am not sure what I can do but, I am willing to help.”
“I am happy to hear you say that,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “I am feeling lost with Christmas this year. “I feel that there aren’t many Storyland characters that really understand the true meaning of Christmas but also, perhaps more importantly, I am not sure that very many of the Storyland characters have done many good deeds this year.”
“I see,” said Pirate Pete.
“I have Christmas gifts for all 22 residents of the Christmas Building,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “I don’t feel right just handing them out to everyone, if they don’t know the true meaning of Christmas and if they haven’t done any good deeds this year.”
“I do know that Christmas to me means spending time with my mother and my good friends,” said Pirate Pete. “Also, I know that Christmas is all about caring about each other.”
“Very good,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “Now, what good deed have you done this past year?”
“Hmm,” said Pirate Pete, thinking hard. “Oh, I know one. I gave all my crew Easter off. I arranged a huge feast for them and we even had an Easter Egg hunt. I am going to do the same for Christmas too. That way, my crew can spend Christmas with their families.”
“That is what I like to hear,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “Okay, I do feel good about giving you your Christmas gift.”
Lost Christmas Tree handed Pirate Pete his gift and wished him a Merry Christmas.
“Merry Christmas to you as well,” said Pirate Pete.
