Santa Claus – Character Insight
I created my Santa Claus character for my Canadian Trades/Professions Story Challenge. We actually don’t have an actual Santa Claus job in Canada because the real Santa Claus still lives in the North Pole still and he does still show up on Christmas Eve to deliver our gifts and eat our plates of cookies we set out for him.
We, in Canada, are definitely not replacing the real Santa Claus. However, we do look for part- time Santa’s to help fill in at the malls when the real Santa can’t make it. We do also look for Santa helpers. Santa helpers are normally not a paid position. Santa helpers are volunteers.
To become a Santa helper, you would need to be kind and generous. You would need to be able to get along well with others and you would need to be helpful.
Some Santa helpers wear a Santa suit but there are so many that don’t and some of those that don’t, they don’t want to be recognized for being Santa’s helper. They just want to help out from the bottom of their hearts.

To sum up the character pit between Santa Claus and Evil Elf, hopefully some of Santa Claus’ good behavioural traits will rub off on Evil Elf. I think somewhere deep inside of Evil Elf, there is a good elf. We just have to wait for him to show us his good side.
