“See Food” Diet for Arrow
“What the heck are you doing?” asked Cutie when she saw Arrow sitting on the floor in the kitchen with three bowls of food in front of him.
“I heard about this new diet for cats,” said Arrow. “It is called “the see food” diet.”
“Oh no!” exclaimed cutie. “Let me guess. It is the ‘see food and eat it’ diet.”
“Yes,” said Arrow. “That is it.”
Cutie got out her phone and showed Arrow a picture of the fat orange cat that created the ‘see food diet’, Garfield.
“Does this cat look skinny to you?” asked Cutie.
“No,” said Arrow. “He looks like he is fatter than I am.”
“Exactly,” said Cutie.” You will not lose weight with a ‘see food’ diet.”
“Oh,” said Arrow. “But, I will have fun trying.”
“I don’t think so,” said Cutie, taking two of the bowls away from Arrow. “By the way, why are you going on a diet?”
“I need to lose weight so I can be in a boxing match with Jesse and JD,” said Arrow.
“I thought we already discussed this,” said Cutie.
“We did,” said Arrow. “But this is something I really want to do.”
“No,” said Cutie. “You aren’t going to box and you are not going on a diet, especially “see food” diets.”
“Why not?” asked Arrow.
“They aren’t safe,” said Cutie. “Have you gone to the vet to get checked out?”
“No,” said Arrow. “I bet Jesse hasn’t gone to his doctor.”
“Oh,” said Cutie. “I bet Jesse has.”
Cutie went up to Arrow and gave him a swat.
“What the heck did you do that for?” asked Arrow. “That hurt!”
“If that hurts,” said Cutie. “Wait until you get into a boxing ring.”
“Maybe I will cancel that idea,” said Arrow, thinking that boxing just might not be something he wanted to do anymore.
“Good idea,” said Cutie.
