Apartment 7 – Christmas Dance

Lost Christmas Tree walked up to Apartment 7. He knocked on the door. He could hear Christmas music.

“I love Christmas music,” said Lost Christmas Tree, waiting to see if someone
would answer the door.

“Oh hello,” said a man, with long donkey ears and wearing a tuxedo. “How can I help you?”

“My name is Lost Christmas Tree,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “Are you expecting a Christmas tree delivery?”

“No,” said the man. “I decided I would get a small artificial tree this year.”

“I see,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “I am trying to find out which apartment in
this Christmas Building that I am supposed to be spending Christmas at.”

“I am Beastly,” said the man. “I do normally order a real tree for Christmas but this year I have been so busy giving dance lessons that I just didn’t have time this year for a real tree.”

“You give dance lessons?” asked Lost Christmas Tree. “That is wonderful. I heard the Christmas music playing while I was waiting for you to answer the door.”

“So you like Christmas music?” asked Beastly, pinning his long donkey ears behind his head.

“I do,” said Lost Christmas Tree.

Beastly grabbed one of Lost Christmas Tree’s branches and the two started dancing.

“Oh, this is so much fun,” said Lost Christmas Tree, thoroughly enjoying dancing.

After about ten minutes of dancing, Lost Christmas Tree had to say goodbye to Beastly.

“Merry Christmas,” waved Beastly. “Good luck in finding the apartment you are supposed to be spending Christmas at.”

“Thank you,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “Merry Christmas to you and good luck with your dancing lessons.”
