Christopher Corn and Sweet Music

Christopher Corn walked through the garden. He took a good look at all the pretty colours of the many different flowers Farmer Fred had planted. There were brilliant and bright yellows, oranges, reds and blues.

“These flowers in the garden are so sweet,” sang Christopher, making up the lyrics as he continued walking. “Sweet, sweet music I need to make. Bright yellows, oranges, reds and blues. I hope they stay sweet for everyone’s sake.”

Christopher kept walking around the garden, taking in its beauty. As he walked more lyrics popped into his head. He continued singing as he walked.

“Is that a new song you are singing?” asked Cameron Cauliflower, who was walking around the garden. “I don’t think I heard that one before.”

“It just popped into my head,” said Christopher.

“I love it,” said Cameron Cauliflower. “You do know how to make sweet music.”

“Thank you,” said Christopher. “I am happy you like it.”

Christopher thought to himself about how much music meant to him and how he loved creating it. He realized he was given a talent and he realized he had to put his talent to good use.

“I am going to continue creating the sweetest music ever,” said Christopher.

“Good to hear,” said Cameron Cauliflower. “This world needs your sweet music.”
