Safety Flying a Kite

A six year old boy, Sammy, was having fun flying a KITE. His kite was very colourful. It had shades of blue and shades of green. There were long yellow streamers hanging from it.

Sammy saw a HILL directly in front of him. He could see some very tall GRASS on top of the hill. Sammy thought it would be fun to fly his kite while running through the tall grass. He ran up the hill just as fast as he could go.
Once he was on top of the hill, Sammy found out that it was very difficult to run through the tall grass while flying his kite.

Sammy happened to look down on the other side of the hill. He saw some WATER at the bottom. Without thinking, Sammy ran down the hill just as fast as he could go. He wasn’t paying attention and he almost tripped on a rock. Luckily for Sammy, Safety Kid just happened to be going for a walk and he was able to stop Sammy from hurting himself.

“Thank you for keeping me SAFE,” said Sammy.

“You are welcome,'” said Safety Kid. “You should always, watch where you are going when you are running.”

“Yes,” said Sammy. “I will from now on.”

“Good boy,” said Safety Kid. “Now, how about we go fly your kite.”

“I would like that very much,” said Sammy, smiling.
