Just Girlz Summer Storm
“Russell,” said Suzie Troll to her producer. “When are you going to send us out on tour? We have a ton of new material and we want to get it out there.”
“Suzie,” said Russell. “Have some patience, please.”
“Patience!” screamed Suzie. “Just Girlz have been waiting for months for something to happen. We are tired of waiting. Sumner is here. We have no school right now. There is nothing standing in our way.”
“I am well aware of that,” said Russell.
“Well then,” said Suzie. “What is the issue? Are we not good enough?”
“That is not the issue at all,” said Russell.
“Well what is the issue?” asked Suzie. “I don’t want to be 90 years old before we go on tour again.”
“You are only 13,” laughed Russell. “So, I don’t see that happening.”
“Come on,” said Suzie. “What is the issue? We have been working so hard on our new material.”
“Okay,” said Russell. “You want to know what the issue is? I will tell you. Your music is too advanced.”
“Are you serious?” asked Suzie.
“Dead serious,” said Russell. “I don’t think the world is ready for Just Girlz.”
“So,” said Suzie, not wanting to take ‘no’ for an answer. “Why don’t we make the world ready?”
“You know,” said Russell. “I think you are on to something.”
“Awesome,” said Suzie.” What do you have in mind?”
“Let’s start with a few smaller venues and we’ll test the market first, “said Russell.
“I like that idea,” said Suzie.
Russell setup Just Girlz to play in five different venues over the next few weeks. Just Girlz were ecstatic to finally be able to play for their fans.
“The response is incredible,” said Russell, right after the first concert. “I have already had offers from several venues expressing their interest in your music. They want to hold several concerts featuring Just Girlz as the headline act. Pack your bags, girls. This is it. This is what you have been waiting for.”
“I am so excited,” said Suzie.
“And so you should be,” said Russell. “You girls deserve it after all your hard work.”
