Christopher Corn and Stir Fry

“Come on,” sang Christopher Corn. “Let’s sing our hearts out, dance all night and do not pout.”

Christopher started dancing across the stage. Cameron Cauliflower saw him. He laughed and then he joined in.

“You are in a good mood,” laughed Cameron. “What is going on?”

Christopher started jumping up and down on the stage.

“I just want to have some fun,” said Christopher. “We have spent every day for the past few weeks practising. We need to be able to let loose.”

“I agree,” laughed Cameron.

Christopher continued to jump around on the stage. Farmer Fred came over to the stage and when he saw Christopher dancing and jumping around, he burst out laughing.

“You look like a stir fry dancing in a frying pan,” laughed Farmer Fred.

“What is a stir fry?” asked Christopher.

“Well,” explained Farmer Fred. “A stir fry is a bit of meat, either chicken, beef or pork and a ton of vegetables cooked in a big, deep pan called a wok. These ingredients are fried quickly. They are served with rice and a whole lot of soy sauce.”

Christopher laughed so hard, he had tears streaming down his face.

“Jump in the hot pan,” sang Christopher.” Stir fry, stir fry. Stir it up man. Stir fry, stir fry.”
