Grand Old Leprechaun – Character Insight
Grand Old Leprechaun used to be a mean and nasty leprechaun just like all the other leprechauns in Storyland. That all changed the day his precious daughter, Annie Leprechaun was born. Grand Old Leprechaun could not be mean and nasty anymore after looking into Annie’s eyes for the very first time.
Leprechauns in Storyland started noticing a difference in Grand Old Leprechaun. They started seeing that he was more friendly and much more approachable. They started coming to him for advice.
Grand Old Leprechaun is the oldest and the wisest of all leprechauns in Storyland. One of his life’s missions is to have all leprechauns in Storyland to stop being mean and nasty. He wants the leprechauns to co-exist harmoniously with the other characters in Storyland.
Grand Old Leprechaun has seen first-hand what being mean and nasty has cost the leprechauns of Storyland. Characters think leprechauns are frightening. They are afraid of them. The leprechauns in Storyland are questioned about their motives every time they do anything and that is because the Storyland characters don’t trust them.
Because of the fear and the trust issues characters have with the leprechauns, leprechauns are left out of most of the activities on Storyland. Grand Old Leprechaun is working hard to change that. He wants leprechauns to be more involved in Storyland.

– I have written about Grand Old Leprechaun the most and that is because he appears in the stories with the other leprechaun characters, Annie Leprechaun and Lucky Leprechaun. - Which character feels like they are treated fairly?
– I don’t think Angry Leprechaun feels that he is treated fairly because he is angry all the time but perhaps if he wasn’t so angry, he would be treated better. - Do these two characters like each other?
