Hug a Canadian

July 1 is a very special holiday in Canada. It is the birthday of our fine country. Canada was formed in 1867. Canada is a very beautiful country. It stretches across the northern border of the United States from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and as far north as the Arctic Ocean, with the exception of the very northwest corner, which is the state of Alaska. Alaska belongs to the United States.

Canadians are a very relaxed breed of people for the most part. We enjoy the beauty our country has to offer us. We enjoy the wide open spaces that we have. We enjoy the abundant wildlife. More than anything else, we enjoy our freedom.

There does come a time when we do have to be reminded just how much freedom we do have. We have been known to take this freedom for granted. It is very important that as a Canadian we realize just how lucky we are.

Next time you see a Canadian, give them a hug. Remind us of just how special we are.

Happy Canada Day to all Canadians!

Moral of this Story:

  • Canadians love hugs!
  • Example: As a Canadian, it is nice to be hugged, especially on Canada Day.
