I was really looking forward to ringing in a brand new year. I wanted a fresh start. I wanted to make a resolution and I wanted to keep it too. I wanted every single thing of this brand new year to be perfect so, imagine how I felt, waking up on the very first day of this brand new year and seeing flake after flake after flake of white fluffy snow fall to the ground. I was sorely disappointed as I was sure this new year would bring with it good weather, not snow.
I decided however, that this snow wasn’t going to ruin my day or my brand new year. I also decided that I wasn’t going to waste this day because of the snow. I dressed up warmly, put my boots on and went outside.
I stood in the middle of my driveway and took a real good look around me. Everything looked so white and so pure. I went back inside and took all my winter clothes off.
I didn’t want to disturb the freshness and pureness of the snow. I thought to myself that this was a wonderful way to start off the new year after all. Freshness and pureness.
