Me – Christmas Story
Lost Christmas Tree saw Me approaching the Christmas Building. Me is the owner and creator of Storyland, She was a very influential guest.
“Hello Me,” said Lost Christmas Tree, straightening out his branches and blowing snow off his lights. “It is good to see you.”
“Merry Christmas,” said Me. “So, I understand you are having some problems with Christmas this year.”
“Yes,” said Lost Christmas Tree, wondering how Me knew that. “I feel like Christmas is lost to me. still there are some characters that don’t know the meaning of Christmas and some that haven’t done any good deeds this year. I have Christmas gifts for all the residents of the Christmas Building but I don’t feel right about just handing them out for no reason. So far though, I have been impressed with what the residents that have arrived have said about the meaning of Christmas and also the good deeds they have done. They are making me feel better about Christmas.”
“I am glad about that,” said Me. “I know I am responsible in part for the characters not knowing the true meaning of Christmas. I tried to instill good values in them but some of the characters just have a mind of their own.”
“I think you have done wonders,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “You have created close to 30 new characters and have written just over 300 new stories this year. That is an amazing accomplishment.”
“Thank you,” said Me.
“No,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “Thank you. Storyland is really coming into it is own. It is a real work of art.”
“It is my life passion,” said Me. “I have poured a lot of blood, sweat and tears into it.”
“And it shows,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “I do have one question, though. How did you know about me having a problem with Christmas this year.”
“You seem to forget,” laughed Me. “I am the one that writes all the stories in Storyland. I know every single thing that happens here.”
“Yes,” said Lost Christmas Tree, laughing too. “That is true! Merry Christmas.”
Lost Christmas Tree handed Me her Christmas gift.
“Merry Christmas to you as well,” said Me. “Thank you!”
