Mother’s Day Fun

“What are we doing today?” asked Mother Elf, walking through a city street with her two children, Jason and Annie.

“Since it is Mother’s Day,” said Annie. “I think you should get to decide.”

“Oh my!” cried Mother Elf. “This trip to the city just keeps getting better and better. This was a great idea to take the bus into the city.”

“We want you to enjoy yourself,” said Jason.

“I am,” said Mother Elf.

“That makes us happy,” said Annie.

“Very happy,” said Jason.

“I think we should go to the museum,” said Mother Elf.

“You don’t like the museum,” said Jason.

“No,” said Mother Elf. “However, I know you two do and it will be nice to see everyone enjoying themselves. That will bring me the most joy.”

“You are the best, “said Annie. “Let’s go have fun!”

Mother Elf, Jason and Annie enjoyed themselves tremendously. Mother Elf had a wonderful Mother’s Day, watching her children smile, laugh and be happy.
