A Cranky Easter Surprise

Cranky Bunny was with his friend, Julie. They were at the mall, doing last minute Easter shopping.

“Hi Cranky Bunny and Julie,” said a young boy, Joseph. “What are you two doing at the mall?”

“We are doing some Easter shopping,” said Julie, winking at Joseph.

“I don’t like Easter,” said Joseph. “Easter is bad.”

Julie watched Cranky Bunny. His smile immediately turned upside down and his eyebrows furrowed.

“What do you mean you don’t like Easter?” asked Cranky Bunny.

“I just don’t,” said Joseph.

Cranky Bunny became so cranky that he couldn’t even think straight.

“It is okay,” said Julie. “Joseph was teasing you.”

“I love Easter,” said Joseph.

“Oh good,” said Cranky Bunny, smiling once again. “I was getting worried there for a second.”
