“F” is for Friend

Alphabet Allie was visiting with her friend, Frankie, on a very hot summer day.

“‘F’ is for friend,” said Allie. “And you are my best friend.”

“‘F’ is for favourite,” said Frankie. “You are not only my best friend. You are also my favourite friend.”

“That was really sweet of you,” said Allie. “So what would you like to do today?”

“Is today Friday?” asked Frankie.

“Yes,” said Allie. “Today is Friday. ‘F’ is for Friday.”

“Would you like to go to the fair?” asked Frankie. “‘F’ is for fair.”

“I like going on the ferris wheel,” said Frankie. “‘F’ is for ferris.”

“After we go on the ferris wheel,” said Allie. “We could get some french fries. ‘F’ is for french and for fries.”

“I love french fries,” said Frankie. “I also love fried chicken. ‘F’ is for fried.”

Allie and Frankie had a really good time at the fair. It was so hot that they each had a cup of frozen yogurt with some fruit on the bottom of it.

“‘F’ is for frozen and for fruit,” said Allie. “The frozen yogurt with fruit on the bottom was so good.”

“‘F’ is for fireworks,” said Frankie. “When will we see the fireworks?”

“‘F’ is for finished,” said Allie. “Once the fair is finished, then we will see the fireworks.”
