Christmas Building 2024 – Apartment 8 – Blossom Bunny

It was almost Christmas Eve, thought Blossom Bunny. “I am going out to spread some Christmas joy.”

Blossom shivered as she stepped outside, the cold wind almost blowing the daisy crown from her head. Blossom persevered. She wasn’t about to let the cold wind deter her.

“I think I hear crying,” said Blossom.

Blossom hurried quickly until she came to a small clearing. There, on a park bench, Blossom saw a young girl. Tears were pouring down her face.

“What is wrong?” asked Blossom gently.

“I am lost,” cried a little girl.

The little girl started shivering. Blossom jumped up onto the little girl’s lap, hoping the warmth from her body would warm her up.

“Thank you,” said the little girl, gently petting Blossom’s head. “You have the softest fur.”

Blossom heard footsteps in the snow behind them. The little girl did too and saw her mother coming toward them. The little girl set Blossom beside her and ran to her mother.

“Mama!” cried the little girl. “I was lost and cold. This kind bunny kept me warm.”

“Thank you for keeping Anna warm,” said the mother. “You are very kind.”

Blossom watched as Anna waved goodbye, holding her mother’s hand tight.

“Merry Christmas,” said Blossom, smiling.

Blossom went back to her den, pleased with herself that she had helped to keep Anna warm.

Later that afternoon, Blossom received an email. Blossom read the email with wide eyes. She had been invited to the Christmas Building, but she had no idea why. She quickly got ready and stepped outside, where a shiny limo awaited her. The driver opened the door, and Blossom hopped in, feeling a mix of excitement and curiosity.

As the limo drove through the snowy streets, Blossom admired the twinkling Christmas lights and decorations. Soon, they arrived at the grand Christmas Building, adorned with festive lights and a giant wreath on the door.

Blossom was greeted by Lost Christmas Tree, who stood tall and majestic in the entrance hall.

“Welcome, Blossom Bunny,” said Lost Christmas Tree with a warm smile.

“Thank you,” replied Blossom. “But I don’t understand why I was chosen to come here.”

Lost Christmas Tree’s eyes twinkled as he explained, “Blossom, you have been continuously helpful to others. This morning, you kept Anna warm when she was lost and cold. Your kindness and willingness to help those in need have not gone unnoticed.”

Blossom felt a warm glow in her heart as she listened. She followed Lost Christmas Tree into a grand hall filled with delicious food, lively music, and dancing. The atmosphere was joyous, and everyone was in high spirits.

There was an award ceremony at the end of the Christmas festivities and Blossom was handed a beautiful, sparkling trophy. She felt a sense of pride and happiness as everyone applauded. “Thank you,” she said, her voice filled with emotion. “This means so much to me.”

The night continued with laughter, dancing, and celebration. Blossom knew that she would always cherish this special evening and the recognition of her kind heart. As she looked around at the smiling faces, she felt truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful community.

“Merry Christmas,” Blossom whispered to herself, feeling the true spirit of the season.
