The Happy Balloon Family and the Peacocks

The Happy Balloon Family flew over Storyland. It was a beautiful day for flying. The sky was clear blue with not a cloud in sight.

“What a beautiful day!” exclaimed Daddy Balloon, happily floating through the air.

“Oh yes it is,” said Mommy Balloon, floating past him.

The Happy Balloon Family flew over a farm. Sissy and Baby Balloon were very excited. They saw some very colourful peacocks in one of the pens.

“Look how beautiful they are,” said Sissy.

“Bright and colourful,” said Baby, smiling.

“Do you know what kind of bird they are?” asked Daddy.

“No,” said Sissy. “I don’t. I have never seen anything so beautiful though and look at their tail feathers.”

“So pretty!” exclaimed Baby.

“They are peacocks,” said Mommy.

“Their names are almost as pretty as they are,” said Sissy.

“Yes,” said Mommy. “That is true.”

“They look like they have eyes on their tails,” said Sissy.

“Yes,” said Mommy. “Aren’t they beautiful?”

“They certainly are,” said Sissy.

“They are fun,” said Baby.

While the Happy Balloon Family were watching the peacocks, the peacocks started strutting around the yard below and they opened their tails wide.

“So beautiful,” said Sissy.

“Yes,” said Daddy. “They certainly are.”

The Happy Balloon Family had a fun and happy day together, watching and admiring the peacocks.
