Millie the Mechanic – Character Insight
Millie is a super cool mechanic and she’s the first female mechanic in our story about all the different jobs people do in Canada. Millie shows us that girls can choose any job they want, even if it’s one where you usually see males doing them..
Millie’s dad has a garage full of cars that need fixing, and soon, he’s going to let Millie be the boss! She’s just finished learning all about being a mechanic, and she’s really good at it.
Sometimes, some people are surprised to see a girl fixing cars, but Millie doesn’t let that bother her. She knows exactly what to do and helps every car leave the garage happy and working great. When she helps someone who didn’t expect a girl mechanic, it’s like scoring a big point for all girls who want to be mechanics too!
Millie loves to keep things tidy. She has a special place for each tool, and after she uses one, she puts it right back where it belongs. This way, she always knows where to find it next time.
Even when things get tough, Millie loves her job. It makes her extra happy when her dad tells her how proud he is of her work. Millie is not just a mechanic; she’s a mechanic superstar!
