“A” is for Apple
Alphabet Allie went for a walk in the early afternoon on a very hot summer day. She saw an apple tree and she suddenly craved a piece of homemade apple pie. Alphabet Allie picked several ripe red apples and put them in her pocket.
“‘A’ is for apple,” said Alphabet Allie, thinking about the apple pie she was going to bake and how good it was going to taste. “I think I like the letter ‘a’.”
Alphabet Allie was very thirsty after her long walk. She went to the refrigerator and got a cold drink of ginger ale.
“‘A’ is for ale,” said Alphabet Allie. “Ginger ale sure does hit the spot on a hot day like today.”
Alphabet Allie peeled the apples and then sliced them. Soon she had the apple pie baking in the oven.
“‘A’ is for aroma,” said Alphabet Allie, smelling the sweet aroma of the apple pie baking in the oven.
Alphabet Allie took the apple pie out of the oven and she set it on the counter to let it cool.
“‘A’ is for abundant,” said Alphabet Allie, taking an abundant slice of her apple pie and enjoying it immensely.
