A Tasty Mother’s Day Dinner
“Let’s cook dinner for Mother Elf for Mother’s Day,” suggested Annie.
“That is a good idea,” said Jason. “I know how to cook a few things.”
“I know how to chop, stir and mix things,” said Annie. “What is the best thing you can cook?”
“I can cook potatoes,” said Jason. “And peas.”
“Okay,” said Annie. “That is a start.”
“What could we have with potatoes and peas?” asked Jason.
“Mother Elf loves ham,” said Annie.
“That is right,” said Jason. “Ham is fairly easy to cook. We just have to bake it in the oven.”
“This will be a tasty dinner for Mother Elf,” said Annie.
“I am sure Mother Elf will love it,” said Jason.
Mother Elf did love the Mother’s Day meal her two children cooked for her. She was very proud of them. Not only did they cook a very tasty Mother’s Day meal, they also cleaned up the kitchen when they were done.
“Thank you children,” said Mother Elf. “That was a tasty Mother’s Day meal.”
“Happy Mother’s Day,” shouted Jason and Annie.
