“S” is for Summer

“It is a very hot summer day,” said Alphabet Allie to her friend, Sally. “‘S’ is for summer.”

“This summer season is very hot,” said Sally. “‘S’ is for season.”

“It would be a good day to go swimming,” said Alphabet Allie. “‘S’ is for swimming.”

“It is Saturday,” said Sally. “The pool is free today. ‘S’ is for Saturday.”

“Let’s go,” said Alphabet Allie. “We will have to go get our swimsuits. ‘S’ is for swimsuits.”

Alphabet Allie and Sally went to get their swimsuits and they met at the pool. Just as they were about to get into the pool, it started to rain.

“That was just a sun shower,” said Alphabet Allie when the rain stopped just as quickly as it started. ” ‘S’ is for sun, shower, stopped and started.”

Alphabet Allie and Sally both enjoyed swimming very much. They both decided they would meet at the pool the next Saturday as well.
