“F” is for Father

“Today is Father’s Day,” said Alphabet Allie to her father. ‘ ‘We should do something fun. ‘F’ is for Father’s Day, father and fun.”

“That sounds fantastic,” said Father. “How about we go fishing? ‘F’ is for fantastic and fishing.”

Alphabet Allie and her father used to go fishing a lot. They always had a lot of fun, even if they never caught anything.

‘’This is a very enjoyable Father’s Day,” said Father, standing on the dock.

“Oh look,” said Alphabet Allie. ”I see a frog. ‘F’ is for frog.”

“Good,” said Father. “He will help keep the flies and mosquitoes away. ‘F’ is for flies.”

“Frogs are funny,” said Alphabet Allie, watching the frog hop around. ”I like how they hop. ‘F’ in for funny.”

“It looks like our fishing is finished,” said Father. “It is starting to rain. ‘F’ is for finished.”

“It was fun while it lasted,” said Alphabet Allie, running to the car. “I’m the first one at the car. ‘F’ is for first. Happy Father’s Day!”
