Mrs. Tulip Loves Spring

Mrs. Tulip was walking around the garden. She was enjoying the spring weather. It had been a very long and nasty winter.

Mrs. Tulip saw her friend, Mr. Squirrel. He was very busy scurrying around from tree to tree. Mrs. Tulip saw him picking up old acorns and other seeds that he came across.

“Mr. Squirrel,” said Mrs. Tulip. “It certainly is a beautiful spring day.”

“Oh yes it is,” said Mr. Squirrel. “I am so happy that spring is finally here.”

“I am as well,” said Mrs. Tulip.

“Spring is my favourite season,” said Mr. Squirrel.

“Oh,” said Mrs. Tulip. “I love spring!”

“Actually,” said Mr. Squirrel. “I love it as well. It is so much easier to find food once all that snow is gone.”

“Very valid point,” said Mrs. Tulip.

“You know,” said Mr. Squirrel, looking deep into Mrs. Tulip’s eyes. “You look very happy.”

“I am very happy,” said Mrs. Tulip. “Thank you.”

“You are welcome,” said Mr. Squirrel.
