Let’s Go Home

“How is Troll Brother?” Troll Mother asked the Troll Nurse.

”He is fine,” said Troll Nurse. ”He just needs to rest now.”

”’I see,” said Troll Mother. ”I’m so thankful that he is alright.”

”That must have been quite a scare for you to see him get hit by that Troll bat,” said Troll Nurse.

”It was,” said Troll Mother, still a bit shaken. ”It was quite scary.”

”How is my Troll son?” asked Troll Daddy, walking down the hall of the Troll Town Hospital. “Is he alright?”

”Thank goodness you’re here,” said Troll Mother. “He’s going to be just fine. He is resting right now.”

”Thank goodness,” said Troll Daddy, very much relieved. ”I didn’t know what to think when I got that phone call from you earlier. I left work and got here just as quickly as I could.”

”It was a pretty scary afternoon,” said Troll Mother. “Troll Brother was at the pitchers mound looking over at the third base troll, when Troll Batters bat flew out of his hand and hit Troll Brother right across the back of his head.”

”Oh my!” exclaimed Troll Daddy. ”That seems serious.”

”It was,” said Troll Mother. ”Troll Brother was wearing his face mask but because he was turned around, it didn’t do him much good.”

”Can I see him?” asked Troll Daddy.

”Sure,” said Troll Mother. ”He’s resting though.”‘

”That’s okay,” said Troll Daddy.

Troll Daddy and Troll Mother went quietly into Troll Brother’s room.

”Troll Daddy!” exclaimed Troll Brother, waking up as soon as Troll Daddy came into the room.

”Hi Troll Brother,” said Troll Daddy. ”How are you?”

”Except for a big headache,” said Troll Brother. ”I’m okay.”

”I bet you’ve got a huge headache,” said Troll Mother.

”Yeah,” said Troll Brother. ”It hurts, bad!”

”I bet it does,” said Troll Daddy. ”Can I get you anything?”

”Just take me home,” said Troll Brother.

”He’s alright,” cried Troll Mother. ”He wants to come home!”
