Apartment 16 – Cheesy Christmas

Lost Christmas Tree walked down the hallway in the Christmas Building. He was still trying to find out which apartment he was supposed to spend Christmas at. He saw the door for Apartment 16. He knocked on it.

“Nobody is answering,” said Lost Christmas Tree.

Lost Christmas Tree was going to leave and go downstairs to the first floor but he heard a noise coming from Apartment 16.

“It sounds like someone is scratching in there,” said Lost Christmas Tree.

Lost Christmas Tree knocked on the door again. When he knocked he noticed the door opened up.

“A rat!” screamed Lost Christmas Tree. “I don’t like rats.”

“I am Lost Christmas Tree,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “Please tell me your aren’t looking for a Christmas Tree delivery.”

“I’m not,” said the rat. “My name is Rat Boy. Would you be kind enough to help me?”

“I guess,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “What do you need help with?”

“I see some cheese on the wall and I can’t get it,” said Rat Boy, pointing to a wall in the kitchen.

Lost Christmas Tree saw what Rat Boy was looking at.

“I’m sorry,” said Lost Christmas Tree, laughing his bark off. “You can’t eat that cheese. It is wallpaper.”

“It looks so real,” said Rat Boy.

“Yes it does,” said Lost Christmas Tree.

Lost Christmas Tree walked down the hallway to the stairwell, waving to Rat Boy.

“Merry Christmas,” said Rat Boy.

“Merry Christmas to you too,” said Lost Christmas Tree.

“Rat Boy actually seems very nice,” said Lost Christmas Tree to himself. “I was too quick to judge him. That was wrong of me.”

Lost Christmas Tree walked down the stairs to the first floor in search of finding the apartment he is supposed to spend Christmas at.

Moral of this Story:

  • Don’t be so quick to judge people.
  • Example: Lost Christmas Tree was too quick to judge Rat Boy just because he is a rat.
