“T” is for Thankful

Alphabet Allie was visiting with her friend, Thomas. It was Thanksgiving weekend in Canada.

“It is Thanksgiving weekend,” said Alphabet Allie. “‘T’ is for Thanksgiving.”

“Yes it is,” said Thomas. “We are going to have turkey for dinner. I am thankful for turkey. ‘T’ is for thankful and also for turkey.”

“I am thankful for lots of things,” said Alphabet Allie. “I am thankful for you. I am thankful for my dad’s truck so he could bring me here to see you. ‘T’ is for things and for truck.”

“I am thankful for you as well, “said Thomas. “I am also thankful we didn’t have any thunder. ‘T’ is for thunder.”

“Or a tornado,” said Alphabet Allie. “‘T’ is for tornado.”

“I am thankful for the trees,” said Thomas. “‘T’ is for trees.”

“Me too,” said Alphabet Allie.

“I am thankful for a nap,” said Thomas.

“Why?” asked Alphabet Allie.

“I will be tired after eating our Thanksgiving dinner,” laughed Thomas. “‘T’ is for tired.”
