Snow Fairy’s Warm Winter Blanket
Snow Fairy went for a walk one cold winter morning. She knew it was cold but she had been stuck inside the house for many days because of the extreme cold weather.
“The fresh air feels good,” said Snow Fairy to herself as she kept walking. “However, the cold weather is horrible. I don’t think it has been this cold in years.”
As Snow Fairy continued walking, she shivered.
“My!” exclaimed Snow Fairy. “I am freezing cold and I can’t stop shivering. I have to find a way to get warmed up.”
Snow Fairy walked past her fried Rambler Rabbit’s home. Rambler just happened to be outside of his den.
“Oh Snow Fairy,” said Rambler. “You are so cold. What are you doing out in this cold weather?”
“I needed to get some fresh air,” said Snow Fairy. “I have been stuck inside for so long. I was starting to go stir crazy.”
“Yes,” said Rambler. “I can relate to that. This has been an extremely nasty winter.”
“It sure has,” agreed Snow Fairy.
“I have something that will warm you up,” said Rambler. “Stay here. I will be right back.”
Snow Fairy stood shivering while she waited for Rambler. She was very curious as to what he could possibly have for her.
A few minutes later, Rambler came outside. He had a woolen blanket in his arms.
“This blanket is beautiful,” said Snow Fairy, draping the blanket over her shoulders.
Snow Fairy felt the warmth coming from the blanket and soon, she stopped shivering.
“Thank you,” said Snow Fairy. “I have stopped shivering already.”
“I made this blanket for you,” said Rambler.
Snow Fairy bent down and gave Rambler a kiss on his forehead.
“Thank you,” said Snow Fairy. “I truly appreciate this blanket.”
“You are very welcome,” said Rambler. “I knew it would warm you up immediately.”
“It sure did,” said Snow Fairy, smiling, enjoying the warmth. “Thank you so much! This was a very kind thing for you to do for me.”
“You are my friend,” said Rambler. “And friends look after friends.”
“Yes,” said Snow Fairy. “Yes, they do.”
