Spring Butterfly Stories
Spring Butterfly is a beautiful, solitary butterfly living in Storyland Canada – Fly Away Butterfly World whose life serves as a critique of society’s shallow obsession with physical appearance. While she regularly flies long distances from inland to the ocean to sip her favourite ocean water, she refuses to move closer to the coast because of her steadfast commitment to caring for her frail, elderly mother at home. Navigating family friction caused by her evil twin brother, Black Butterfly, along with the misunderstandings of onlookers who question her long journeys, Spring Butterfly’s stories highlight themes of loyalty, inner conflict, and the enduring truth that selflessness matters far more than beauty.
