Apartment 10 – Zimba Zombie

Lost Christmas Tree continued his search for the apartment in the Christmas Building that he was supposed to be spending Christmas at. Lost Christmas Tree saw the door for Apartment 10. He knocked on it.

“Hello!” exclaimed a young man, answering the door. “How can I help you?”

Lost Christmas Tree was shocked when he saw who answered the door. He stepped back in fear and just about tripped on the door mat.

“What are you?” asked Lost Christmas Tree. “I mean, who are you?”

“I am sorry,” said the man. “I obviously frightened you. My name is Zimba Zombie. I am a zombie. However, I am not a bad zombie. I am actually kind and considerate. Who are you?”

“I am Lost Christmas Tree,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “I am trying to find out which apartment I am supposed to be spending Christmas at. I am the one that should be apologizing. I was too quick to judge. I just assumed that you were a bad person because you are a zombie.”

“How about we start over,” said Zimba. “I am Zimba Zombie.”

“I am Lost Christmas Tree,” said Lost Christmas Tree.

“It is nice to meet you,” said Zimba Zombie.

“It is nice to meet you too,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “Are you expecting a Christmas tree delivery?”

“No,” said Zimba. “I have a small ceramic one.”

“I see,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “I will just have to continue my search then.”

“Good luck,” said Zimba. “I hope you find the apartment you are supposed to be spending Christmas at.”

“Thank you,” said Lost Christmas Tree. “Merry Christmas!”

“Yes,” said Zimba. “Merry Christmas to you as well.”

Lost Christmas Tree knew he had to continue his search to find out which apartment he was supposed to be spending Christmas at. He also learned he needed to not be so judgmental. Zimba Zombie was a very kind and considerate person.
