Travis the Truck Driver – Character Insight

Meet Travis the Truck Driver, a very special friend from Storyland. Travis is not just any truck driver; he’s a hero on wheels! Every day, he drives his big truck through towns and cities, over hills and around bends, to deliver parcels and freight to everyone. He’s been doing this for many years, and he loves the adventure of the open road.

He’s a very strong and caring man who works long hours, sometimes even days or weeks away from home, just to make sure that people are happy and have everything they need. Travis knows that being a truck driver is not easy, but he believes it’s very important, especially during tough times like these.

Travis comes from a place called Revelstoke in BC, and he’s been driving trucks for most of his life. When he’s driving, he likes to think about all sorts of things, and he enjoys the quiet time he has to himself.

Even though Travis and his wife, Doreen, don’t have children, they love helping kids in their community, especially those who don’t have many sports to play. They help organize games and cheer on the children, making sure they have fun and feel special.

So, if you ever see Travis or any truck driver, give them a big wave and a thank you, because they are working very hard to make sure we all have what we need, especially during this pandemic. Travis the Truck Driver is a true Storyland hero, always ready to lend a hand and share a smile!
