Summer Life – Victor – A Monster’s Diary – Entry 26

Dear Diary, I love summer and I have been contemplating what I want to do with my summer life. I have so much time left on my hands and I don’t want to be wasting my life away. I want to be productive.

I have been thinking about getting a job but realistically, who would want to hire a 200 year old monster, so I gave that idea up. I have come up with a better idea. I want to write my biography. I have 160 years worth of my diary entries to work with.

I am very excited about my plans for writing my biography. It will consume most of my summer life and that is good because it will keep me busy.

The best thing about my biography is it has brought me closer to my great-great-great-great-grandson, David. David has been going through my diary pages and pulling out the most relevant ones. He seems to think that by me telling my story about how I was put under a spell by Helga, a witch, 160 years ago that my story may help others who are in a similar situation.

David believes that maybe others have been put under a similar spell either by Helga herself or other witches or warlocks. I never thought of that but David may be onto something. Maybe I am not the only person Helga put under this spell. I am sure that if Helga did it, other witches or warlocks may have as well.

This biography project of mine has actually given me a whole new lease on life. Even David has seen a difference in me. I wake up with a purpose now. I am enjoying my new summer life.
