Summer Flower

Me received a report from Jayden that there was an empty garden in Storyland. Jayden didn’t have time to do anything with it. She asked Me if she wouldn’t mind taking care of it.

Me went to the garden. She weeded out all the weeds, put fresh soil in it and cleaned up around it. Me was very pleased with how it looked. She then planted some flower seeds in it. Each day she watered the flowers.

Soon, the garden was full of life, full of pretty flowers. It looked beautiful. Me was thrilled with it.

A few days later, Jayden stopped by to see what the garden looked like.

“It is beautiful,” said Jayden. “You did a wonderful job with it.”

Jayden loved the colours of the flowers but she especially loved the one single bright red one. It was stunning.

“What kind of flower is it?” asked Jayden.

“It is a summer flower,” said Me, not even sure where it came from.

“It sure makes the garden look beautiful,” said Jayden, smiling and winking at Me.

“It certainly does,” said Me. “And, thank you for the summer flower.”

“You are welcome,” said Jayden.

Moral of this Story:

  • It is a shame to see an empty garden.
  • Example: Jayden found an empty garden. She asked Me to look after it because she didn’t have time.
